About Scott & Harrison Floor Covering...

Scott began learning the flooring trade in 1987 at the age of 16, under the direction of his uncle, a veteran installer. He branched out on his own in 1994 as an independent contractor, then became a sole proprietor in 2001. In 2008, he incorporated his business to reflect the tremendous growth that Harrison Floor Covering had started experiencing in 2004.

Scott is assisted by phenomenal veteran installers in their own right, including his brother Steve, who also learned the trade at a young age. Scott is proud of the fact that his career has come full-circle and is now the veteran teaching his own nephew, Josh.

Harrison Floor Covering started out as one tenacious & hard-working young man with a pickup truck and a few tools. After all the years that have passed and thousands of jobs completed, Scott is still passionate about what he does and takes pride in every single project. Believe it or not, he can drive to nearly every jobsite he's been on by memory and tell you about the people and their floor!

Scott knows that there is always room to learn more about his trade. He keeps his eyes, ears and mind open to new technologies on the horizon that he feels will be beneficial to his customers. He then seeks out training from the manufacturers and learns about their product and how to install it. This is the reason that Scott is called to projects outside of the greater St. Louis area. He is well-known in the nursing home industry as one of the few trained to install a specialized heat-welded vinyl and has traveled as far as Arizona to install it.
